The architectural complex of ancient alleys in the Ming and Qing dynasties was first built during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, from 1851 to 1861 AD, and has a history of more than 150 years. Located in the jurisdiction of Damao Street, Ziyang District, Yiyang City, it originated in the Ming Dynasty and is the result of the western extension of Yiyang Qin Han Ancient City. It is one of the birthplaces of Yiyang Ancient City. The three ancient alleys are called Weigongmiao Lane, Yulingpo Lane, and Denglongguan Lane. It covers an area of about 30 acres and maintains the overall layout of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
