Hangzhou Public Culture Center
Hangzhou Public Culture Center and Hangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center (referred to as “Two Cultural Centers”) are large-scale public welfare comprehensive modern public cultural facilities built by Hangzhou. They have been listed as part of “Top Ten New Cultural Landmarks” project of Hangzhou. Hangzhou Public Culture Center has a planned construction area of about 33,400 square meters, and mainly features functional spaces for literary and art training, performance and exhibition, reading and exchange, leisure and healing, digital experience, light food market, etc. The Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center has a planned construction area of about 22,600 square meters, and mainly features functional spaces for intangible cultural heritage performance, cultural exchange, master workshop, study experience, cultural and creative entertainment, etc. Regarding“Two Cultural Centers”, efforts will be made to achieve a dynamic and modern venue operation mode, and create a digital cultural tourism practice space, an international exchange space for intangible cultural heritage and a lifelong aesthetic education classroom for all citizens.
